Carlie Pollock
Nocturnal Embrace: Azure Dreams in Amber Hues
Oil on Canvas, 35” x 35”

As an artist captivated by the ever-changing canvas of the sky, I find boundless inspiration in the ethereal beauty of clouds. My painting explores the transient nature of cloudscapes and the profound emotions they evoke. In each brushstroke, I seek to capture the dynamic dance of light and shadow, revealing the subtle shifts in color and form that characterize the fleeting moments of a cloud's existence. This painting is a meditation on the impermanence of our surroundings, urging viewers to appreciate the beauty in transience.

Karin Casdorph
Winter in Morgantown
Oil on canvas, (3) 16” x 20”

These works are based on photographs I took around Morgantown when it snowed. They showcase the town and the outlying area in winter.

Isabella Cecil
Boys will Be Boys
Acrylic on canvas, 40” x 30”

This piece is about the phrase "boys will be boys," a saying most girls have heard in their lifetime, and how girls are affected by it.

Sara Haggerty

Morgan, Deviated Septum
Oil on canvas, 20” by 20”

Morgan, Septoplasty
Oil on canvas, 20” by 20”

Morgan is a friend of mine who had a septoplasty procedure to resolve her breathing problems due to her deviated septum (off-centered nose) I asked her to describe her experience in color and her response was “vomit green before surgery” and “very colorful” post-recovery.

Sara, Bow Hunters Syndrome
Oil on canvas, 20” by 20”

Sara, Vertebral Artery Decompression
Oil on canvas, 20” by 20”

I had a vertebral artery decompression on my left vertebral artery (removing some of the bone on my C1) to make more room for my artery to get more blood to my brain. Pre-op I was fainting almost daily and this operation significantly reduced my fainting episodes. I chose red for pre-op because it feels like an aggressive color to me and I feel like this experience was very aggressive on my body. Post-op I chose yellow and magenta because they feel like very exciting and joyful colors.

Kaitlynn (Skates) Layman
Space and Time
Acrylic on wood, 4’ x 4’

This piece examines how everything, from a single source, branches out into our world. It shows the way matter naturally organizes itself into beauty.

Brittany Smith
Fruit of Knowledge
Acrylic on canvas 30”x40”

This piece shows Eve learning forbidden knowledge from the adversary who helps her break free from blindingly following religion.

Megan LaBarbera
Moment In Time
Oil on Canvas, 11’’x14’’

This still life was made to capture the simple forgotten moments in time. It explores dimension, texture, and expands on Spanish and Dutch still life pieces.

Megan LaBarbera
What Is In Your Bag?
Beads on Canvas

These are hand embroidered pieces that showcase items I found/will find important enough to carry with me during three major time periods throughout my life. Each bag is constructed by hand, from a piece of canvas. From right to left: a childhood bag, teenager-twenties, and the final bag is predicting from my thirties and beyond.

Lily Buckley
Blue State
Acrylic on wood
24” Diameter
