  • Vendor events doubled in Morgantown
Downtown is the place to be. Arts Council of Greater Morgantown announced earlier this month that vendor events in Mountaineer Country are on the rise. That means more opportunities for creative entrepreneurs and more downtown foot-traffic thanks to vendor events and festivals like Moonlight Market, Vintage Walks, WV Birthday Party, and more. • New Exhibitions by Morgantown ReStored
Main Street Morgantown volunteers fill vacant storefronts with arts and culture. Each window features a professionally-installed artist exhibition and enhances the commercial availability of underutilized spaces.  See the newest window exhibitions at Dollar General, Warner Theatre, and the IC White Building (469 High).  Learn more at our downtownmorgantown.com >>

GREAT RACE RECAP:
In June The Great Race vintage car rally stopped in Morgantown on their 9-day race from Kentucky to Maine.  A 41-year competitive racing tradition, the Morgantown stop featured 140 vintage vehicles, two car shows, make-and-race pinewood derby for kids, vintage vendors, and treat truck appearances. High Street was filled with an estimated 2,000 spectators.
