The Morgantown History Museum's mission is to preserve the history of Monongalia County through the collection and preservation of historical artifacts that pertain to historical events and individuals throughout the county's history. The museum currently contains nearly 15,000 artifacts spanning the history of Monongalia County from prehistory to the current day.
